Alerts

Alerts tell you when your credit is getting low or your daily spend is high, so requests don't stop by surprise.

The three alerts

CreditTimeYour low-credit thresholdLow-credit alertbell + email, once per dropCredit exhaustedrequests get HTTP 402
The daily-spend alert works the same way, against today's spend instead of your balance, at most once per UTC day.
AlertFires whenHow often
Low-credit alertYour credit falls below the threshold you set.Once each time the balance drops below it. After you add credit and the balance drops below the threshold again, the alert fires again.
Daily-spend alertToday's spend reaches the threshold you set. The day runs midnight to midnight UTC.At most once a day.
Credit exhaustedYour credit runs out. This alert is always on.Once each time credit runs out.

When credit runs out, requests fail with HTTP 402 until you add credit. See Credits and billing.

How you're notified

Divyam shows each alert under the bell in the console and emails it to the addresses in Email recipients. If you haven't saved any recipients, the credit-exhausted email goes to the account owner. Alerts can take a few minutes to arrive after the request that caused them.

Set up alerts

  1. Select Alerts in the console.
  2. Under Email recipients, enter a Recipient email and select Add. You can add up to five addresses.
  3. For Low-credit alert, Daily-spend alert or both, check Enable and enter a Threshold in your account's currency.
  4. Select Save alerts.

To stop an alert, clear Enable and select Save alerts. Turning on an alert needs at least one recipient.
